Japanese Language and Culture Week or often called Bunkasai, is an annual event held at the Center for Japanese Language Studies, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, University of Padjadjaran, Jatinangor Campus on 28-29 June 2019. This activity is a form of cooperation from the UNPAD Japanese Literature Study Program with several campuses that have Japanese Literature Study Programs in Bandung. In this activity there were several competitions which competed with the superior campus to compete in several competitions: Shuuji Contest, Kanji Contest, Kana Contest, Choukai, Karaoke, Sakubun and Speech Contest. In addition to holding competitions, this event also features several Japanese cultures. The Odorikai Team of HIMA Sastra Jepang was chosen to be one of the performers in the event.

The final results of the activity were that the UNIKOM Japanese Literature Study Program won 1st and 2nd place in the Speech Contest category obtained by Zidan Supriadi and M. Shobron Setiadi. It didn’t stop there, M. Shobron Setiadi also won 3rd place in Sakubun Contest. In addition, the Speech Contest Winners were included in the Kanji Contest to compete at the national level.
