Quality is Our Tradition

The Japanese Literature Study Program at UNIKOM was established based on the implementation permit from the Directorate General of Higher Education (DIKTI) No. 3370/D/T/2006, dated September 4, 2006. In 2023, the program received an A (excellent) accreditation status based on the Decree of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education No. 4980/SK/BAN-PT/Ak.Ppj/S/XI/2023

The objectives of the Japanese Literature Study Program are to produce graduates who are faithful and devoted to God Almighty, courteous and virtuous, committed to advancing the nation and the country, and possess the following competencies:
1. Proficiency and expertise in Japanese language and literature, with a minimum Japanese language proficiency equivalent to JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) N3, and the ability to apply their knowledge in society and the workforce.
2. Understanding and adaptability to the development of science and technology both nationally and internationally.
3. Development of an entrepreneurial spirit and work culture, both independently and in team collaborations.
4. Enhancement of leadership, professionalism, and integrity as a graduate of Japanese Literature.

The Japanese Literature Study Program is equipped with various facilities and infrastructure that support a conducive learning environment, aiming to produce high-quality human resources in the fields of Japanese Literature, computer science, and information technology. With computer-related courses commonly used in companies, such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Publisher, PageMaker, Adobe Flash, Web Development, and Hardware, graduates are expected to acquire additional skills beyond Japanese language proficiency. This additional expertise is intended to enhance their competitiveness in the job market.
